The Newbury Geology Society is run by a group of volunteers who arrange trips to sites of

geological interest. Trips are normally day trips within 115 miles or roughly two hours driving

time from Newbury. We also have weekend trips to sites which cannot be visited in one day.

For most trips a qualified geologist provides the expertise.

Membership is open to all and is free, it is not necessary to have any knowledge of the subject

or to live in the Newbury area. Please see the About page for membership details.

There are occasional online presentations given by members on geological topics that

interest them. Details of these are emailed to members.
